Getting links to your website.
A must read section...
Once you feel that you have submitted your website to the proper search engines,
the next step will do you more good than anything is to get links placed
on other websites.
Google and other search engines use this form of linking as a "voting" system.
The more sites you have that are a strong PR Value linking to your site the
better.

Adding your site to these directories keeps search engines going back to your
site as well.
EXAMPLE:
Some directories are CRAWLED by search engines every 3 days.
(They crawl and view other sites listed.)
Then they visit the links that those directories have.
(Now they go to your site and crawl your pages.)
They now store or cache your pages and sub-pages.
(Later on determining how to place them.)
It is important to have every page on your site
linked through a TEXT LINK.
And not just an image link or a jpg button.
This will ensure that the crawler finds it. If you use buttons or a navigation
system make sure you also put text links to the other pages at the bottom of the
site.
Building your own link pages
Every website owner should at some point offer
links to their website, to other web owners. It works well and link exchanges
can be done rather simply.
Just build a page for them and name it infopage or webpage. Do not name it links
or link page. Crawlers can tell.
